On 3rd February, we marked the official launch of the EU Strategy for Women’s Health, a landmark initiative aimed at addressing long-standing inequalities in healthcare across Europe. The event brought together policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, advocates, and community leaders to highlight the urgent need for a more inclusive, gender-responsive approach to health policy.

The Strategy sets out a comprehensive framework to improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research in areas that disproportionately affect women and girls, while ensuring that women’s voices and lived experiences are central to decision-making.

The launch signalled a strong commitment at EU level to advancing equity, innovation, and accountability in women’s health across all Member States.
